Brief About HOHDI
HOME OF HOSPITALITY
DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (HOHDI} came into existence on the 20h day of April 2020
on the WhatsApp platform. It was an initiative conceived and developed by some
Katsina State indigenes during the lockdown period to alleviate the sufferings
of our people engaged in the informal sector of the economy.
The WhatsApp
platform became overwhelmed hence the migration to telegram. In view of the
interest generated by members of the group, it was unanimously agreed that an
entity should be registered to continue with the good work.
This idea gave
birth to Home of Hospitality Development Initiative(HOHDI)a Non-Governmental
Organization(NGO). HOHDI was registered with the Corporate Affairs
Commission(CAC) with registration No CAC/IT/NO 154937 on the 18th day of
December, 2020.
HOME OF HOSPITALITY
DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (HOHDI) through our various interventions have been able
to successfully support 10,250 (ten thousand two hundred and fifty) Katsina
state indigents in various ways since our formation in December 2020. We are
determined to redouble our efforts in uplifting even more of our people with
our programmes and welfare packages planned for 2022 In Sha Allah.
